I wish I could help some halo daddy, because both posts I agree with. On one post, I dont even think Bungie knows what theyre doing most of the time. And about the pro team, it would be cool for a community with 20,000+ members to put out atleast one team to go pro. This way the whole community can follow them and their progress and root for them and it would just be fun over all. However, MLG is not where myself, nor the council (I think) wants to be. MLG makes the good teams sign with them, meaning they would no longer be in XG! Thatd be like the NFL buying out a team so that they win all the time. Theres another one coming out, CGS or something that is ran by direct tv and another company I beleive that I think would be much better for us to venture in to.

The council's main goal is to have a community where everyone is having fun. They dont care if theres 20,000+ members or 20 members. And so far, they've succeeded, so who knows when they'll be ready to try out a pro team again.

yeah i have direct tv and they aired the third annual championship gaming something it has a range of games that pro teams compete in including halo 2 fear r6v graw and many others definatley something i think would be looking into as the viewing of it tripled according to things said during it and the competitors are growing including many people who are pulling out of mlg supposedly

well, at this point it would be dumb to get a halo 2 team together, what with 8 months of play time left, but I think that the CGS thing sounds awesome if we could get a group or two to go!

Halo 3 is around the corner, so maybe we wait for it to come out before we get anything together, but I think that if the vast majority of people want it, they will make it happen!

Yup, just something we gotta wait and watch. Not Just Halo 2, but I guarantee our community would reap havoc in every game! With the abundance of great gamers this community has, it would be very easy to have a top team in each game. I've gotten raped by people from XG in Halo, FEAR, Rainbow Six, GRAW, and many others! Hell, itd be fun to get a Gears team up and try out for that!

yup, Im sure theres plenty of cheaters on the game still, but since that update where they "got rid of standbyers" I havent came across one yet, its nice.

I know some guys who bridge at my school, and they said that they havent been able to since the update, and I just laughed at them and reminded them that I didnt need to bridge host to kick the snot out of them!

all they can do now is mash their standby button, which often times lags them out too, bridging is a thing of the past, along with modding and whatnot for the most part, I suppose that if they got legit host, then they could still do it, but it would never be a sure thing...

yeah good call 007, cheaters are lame :)

I hope it gives those peoples lives a little bit of meaning to see a halo for their level, because its the most pathetic thing in the world to need to cheat to win a video game. I just hope that one day those nub cakes run into people who can really play and they get their asses handed to them.
