Well each year they do get a lil better as long as they minimize the amount of glitches and from now on out they will get better im sure the goalies just need to have fluid motion and you stop having glitch shots but sometimes high percentage shots that might be glitches are really just screened goalies and such
yeah they do keep getting better... i hope that that trend continues... it seems like the goalies are TOO good at some things and terrible at others... like too good at stopping one timers, unless the one timer is absolutely perfect... and not good at staying in position for a single skater (aka the glitch shot from between the circles)
it's not only the AI goalies fault though... i'm sure a big reason for the lack of realness is due to the AI defense... they shouldn't allow you to get into scoring position as often as you can. but if they were more realistic, people wouldn't think the game is as fun...
on a side note... the devils are wearing their classic uniforms tonight for the first time since they switched their colors in 91-92. they are wearing the red white and green uniforms in honor of st pattys day... and brodeur is wearing a replica of the mask he wore in his first NHL game in 1992... the pens play the devils tonight... it should look interesting
and the defensive AI should switch up on how they play not drop back and miss everything going across the middle and such they should have at least 3 to 5 different defensive patterns
Well, the main thing is that at some points, AI d just pretty much screens the goalies on those so-called "high-percentage" shots. Even Antti Niemi couldn't stop that
yeah they did... that's y i said jk... and there are other things that defenders do that the game can't really recreate... like tilt their skates a certain way to deflect pucks not towards their goalie...
