We are all gamers and we are all here to have fun, however, if you have elected to take on responsibility within your clan and throughout the community, you are held to honor and uphold those responsibilities at all times while in your role. If you need a break, communicate it! However, if you are not able to follow through on what you have volunteered to do, then speak with your leadership to determine the best course of action.


Honor Code:
Xiled Gaming members will display a professional gaming demeanor at all times. Any match an Xiled Gaming member participates in should observe the rules of Fair Play, Sportsmanship, and Respect. As an Xiled Gaming member, you not only represent yourself but Xiled Gaming as a whole.

Usergroup Removal Requests:

For User Group Removal requests, please make sure you are being detailed in your request. The GWG team and leaders need to be able to look back and see why a member was removed. If you have any questions on what qualifies for an issue to be added to the removal, contact your Section Leader.

Meeting Notes:

When passing along leader meeting notes to your clans as a General, make sure that you do not copy and paste all the notes and only include notes that are relevant to your clan. Be innovative and proactive to come up with 2-3 topics that will engage the clan and make them want to continue to make every meeting.

Leadership Ideas:

When having a game night, event, or other type clan activity, a good leader should try to get the majority of the clan's leadership, or possible leadership, involved with the process of getting the idea from thought to final product. This is a great way to teach leadership skills to up and coming leadership. Helping your squads with any questions or guidance is NOT Micro Managing. SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!

People can look at you and say, "Well, if he can do it, I can do it." Build that relationship with your members and learn from one another.

Communication

Just a reminder of what the official forms of communication are for the community, there is as always the Website (xiledgaming.com), the XG Official Discord servers, and last but not least there is Xbox. Any communication outside these three is not official XG communication. Any communication between leadership especially needs to be through one of these three. There are many reasons behind this not only, it is easy to watch and moderate things and stop drama from happening, but when leadership utilizes it, it makes it easier to communicate with the other leadership that needs to be communicated. Any important information such as leadership communication should flow through the XG servers or through forms that all leadership individuals who need to be involved can be notified of.

BOTTOM LINE! Have fun, play games, and network with other gamers that share the same interest. At the end of the day, it is after all just a game!

Usergroup Requests:

When a recruit signs up on the website to join the community, they do not need to be accepted into the usergroup until the recruitment period is over (one week). This will keep your usergroup from getting out of control if that potential member ends up not making it to Private. Although you, as XS's, get notifications of someone requesting to join the usergroup, you should not be accepting these because that is the General's responsibility. This is an example of micromanaging the clan.

Communication:

As we all know Communication is the Key to Success; therefore communication needs to be consistent. Generals, if you are going weeks without being in touch with you clans (other than Sunday meetings) then you are not doing your job to be successful and your clan will suffer. XSs, if the only time you spend with your generals is at Sunday meetings, then you are not doing your job and your section will suffer. Work on doing a better job of being a better communicator because your clan or section need an effective leaders that put an emphasis on communication.

Recycling Leadership

All ranks must be earned - handing somebody a leadership rank only because they have previously held a leadership rank in the past is not what you and your leaders should focus on when considering promotions. Go through their current rank responsibilities and ensure that they are already doing what is expected of them at that rank. Then take a look at the responsibilities of the next rank and evaluate whether or not you think they can handle the extra responsibilities of that rank - if you feel like they could fulfill some but not all, start working with them on those areas that they need training on.

Discord server rules

Everyone that is a Mod for the discord, if you see members breaking the rules, step in and take action. Even if the member is not part of your section/division, you should be doing something about it if it has not already been handled. Not everyone sees messages being placed on the discord at all times. That is why we must work as a team to root out the problems.

__**Server Rules and Guidelines:**__
The Xiled Gaming server is run by a team of dedicated volunteers with the aim of giving a haven for good-natured discussion, debates, and fun on the Internet. It is the Individual Members responsibility to be aware of all current server Rules/Guidelines. Ignorance isn't a justifiable excuse, so if you aren't certain then ask first.

__**Moderation:**__
We moderate the server on a common-sense basis and would ask that each of our visitors obey simple good manners when posting on the server.
- The moderators will issue warnings for wrongful behavior and their decision is not up for debate!
- Warnings may consist of the violating user being "muted" in the server for a specific time frame.
- Users may also be banned without notice or explanation from the team if we feel it is in the best interests of the community.
- This server enforces both a "three strikes you're out" policy for repeated violation of the Server Rules and an immediate banning policy for extreme infractions. When necessary, posters who have broken server rules will receive an official warning from staff via Discords "direct message" feature. After two warnings, a third infraction will result in an immediate ban of the account without further notice.
- See something that's inappropriate, breaks the server rules or have a question about the server? Direct Message <@450730162611552260> the details and our Mod/Admin team will take care of the problem.

__**Server Rules:**__

**1. This is a gaming server.**
- There is no room for your political or religious views. Political or religious views will earn you a ban.

**2. Since this is a server open to people of all ages, keep all posts PG-13.**
- Adult content is prohibited. Because the Server is family-friendly, discussion or linking of adult sites is prohibited. Links to adult content and/or posting of jokes or comments of an adult nature are prohibited. All links to adult content, within the server, will be immediately deleted and the posters will be banned.

**5. Be nice to each other and respect the moderator.**
- Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member turn to a moderator and if the moderator can't help you send a private message to an administrator.
- Instructions by the moderator team are to be followed.

__**The following infractions are grounds for immediate, no-questions-asked banning from the server.**__

**1. Drive-by Spamming.**
- Users who join and post for the sole purpose of linking to their sites will be immediately banned from the server.

**2. Threatening Posters.**
- Users who make physical threats against staff or members via posts or direct messages will be immediately banned from the server. Members who receive such threats should immediately contact a staff member and should save the original copy of the threat.

**3. Users who make there own discord server and invite community members will be immediately removed.**

CORE VALUES

Throughout its history, the Xiled Gaming Company has successfully met all its challenges. The online XG community began on January of 2006, the Council of Leaders broke from the community known as KSI in order to run a Community free of cheating, trash talking, racism and run it the way they see fit.

From those early days of the XG community there has been, certain bedrock principles or core values that have been carried by the members in silence. They consist of three basic principles, and together create the XGC mission.

Accordingly, we will have: courage to meet the demands of our profession and the mission when it is, demanding, or otherwise difficult; Make decisions in the best interest of the XG community and XBOX-LIVE, without regard to personal consequences; Meet these challenges while adhering to a higher standard of personal conduct and decency; Be loyal to our community, ensuring the resources entrusted to us are used in an honest, careful, and efficient way. Courage is the value that gives us the moral and mental strength to do what is right, even in the face of personal or professional adversity.

Commitment: "I will obey the orders..." Accordingly, we will: Demand respect up and down the chain of command; Care for the safety, professional, personal and spiritual well-being of our people; Show respect toward all people without regard to race, religion, skill or gender; Treat each individual with human dignity; Be committed to positive change and constant improvement; Exhibit the highest degree of moral character, technical excellence, quality and competence in what we have been trained to do. The day-to-day duty of every XG man and woman is to work together as a team to improve the quality of our work, our people and ourselves.

GENERAL'S RESPONSIBILITIES

Generals are the backbone of XG and should be respected by all XG members. As a General, he/she is a role model for the Captains and all the members of his/her clan.
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of a single clan, as per the XG Clan Structure Guidance.

Generals Responsibilities:

• Work with Captains. Ensure they are properly trained to uphold their responsibilities, manage their squads effectively, and handle issues and enforce the Honor Code. Speak with them regularly to discuss squad activity, their development and the development of their Lieutenants.
• Attend mandatory bi-monthly leadership meetings to keep up-to-date on community information, and host weekly clan meetings to pass along necessary communication from upper leadership and ensure that clan issues and goals are discussed.
• Communicate issues to higher leadership that are warranted.
• Maintain the clan’s Discord channel and clan list and updating it, at minimum, by the 1st and 15th of each month.
• Submit gamertag requests to Section Leaders for approval.

THE HONOR CODE
In Article 6 of the Honor code it states that:

XG members CANNOT be apart of any other gaming communities/clans! Any and all gamer tags must be either in XG clans or in none at all. XG does NOT have ANY alliances with other gaming communities/clans! XG will remain friendly and professional with ALL gaming communities at all times! ZERO TOLERANCE! If a XG member leaves, they are NOT allowed back. In the event of a member wanting to come back, each situation will be looked at by the COUNCIL/Division Leaders on a case-by-case basis.

PROMOTION REQUIREMENTS
NO Promotion is just given for meeting the time requirements. Promotions must be earned by fulfilling all the responsibilities of each rank. Promotions are not asked for they are earned. Because you have been in your position for a long time doesn't not guarantee you a promotion. If you have completed these requirements please speak with a leader. If you are not maintaining the requirements of your position please understand you are hurting your clan, the community and your friends. If this happens you will be relieved of your leadership position. It isn't personal. We can't have inactive or ineffective leaders hold back what our members need. please review the promotion requirements with the link provided.

XG PROMOTION REQUIREMENTS

STAYING IN YOUR LANE & TEAM BUILDING
When dealing with issues that involve members from outside your squad, clan, section, or division, their leaders need to be involved. Example: Generals, if you are having an issue with a member from another clan, it is not up to you to handle that issue. You should be contacting their General directly so the issue can be discussed, worked out, and handled appropriately. If you are having a hard time getting in contact with said leader, go up your chain of command. Ideally, we would like to see our Leadership work together when handling issues. This encourages team building and gives leadership the opportunity to learn from each other in situations one has not yet dealt with but may in the future. However, it is important that the direct leadership is involved and handles all issues.

Recycling Leadership

We do NOT recycle leadership. Just because someone has previously been in leadership does not mean they are the right person for leadership currently. Evaluate all members the same, regardless of past experience or knowledge, and see who earns the promotion by being a positive example in the clan and moving the clan forward. If you allow your judgment to be influenced by friendships and what people tell you instead of letting their actions speak for themselves, you and your leaders will have trained your future leadership to be the same way. If you don't know what you should be looking for when promoting leaders, ask questions and use your chain command or the open door if needed.

Open Communication & the Open Door Policy
The open door policy is in place to be used by members to hit up leaders within the community to discuss any ideas or issues they may be having without consequence. While we encourage the open communication, it is important to make sure we are not abusing this policy and we are taking the opportunity to have the hard conversations with our direct leadership.

RELATIONSHIPS AND LEADERSHIP IN XG

To eliminate drama and keep any kind of favoritism or feelings from influencing decisions, XG does not allow husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, or immediate family to directly report. We realize that with the amazing members we have, at some point you might find the person who completes your life. If you do, we require you to notify a leader (XD, XC, XI) so one of you can be moved. Notifying a leader of these relationships will not result in the loss of rank or removal from the community. However, any lying, deception, manipulation of stories or members, or relationships that generate issues or drama for the community may result in demotion and/or removal from the community. The rank structure is intended to be followed without personal feelings or emotional decisions affecting the directions of our clans.

Look, we get it, some of you are going to date. We don't care! Just spare us and your division the drama of going through it by being honest!

Let's discuss this with all the Leaders:
Clarify what this entails by giving some what ifs and discuss this in detail. If members want their family members in the clan, it is fine as long as those members aren’t seeking leadership in the same clan. We say “family-oriented” then say they cannot be together. Make sure everyone goes over this and if any questions anyone might have we will answer them. Xiled Gaming wants everyone happy and that is what we a striving for.

Values:

Throughout its history, the Xiled Gaming Community has successfully met all its challenges. The online XG community began in January of 2006, the Council of Leaders broke from the community known as KSI in order to run a Community free of cheating, trash talking, racism and run it the way they see fit.

From those early days of the XG community there has been, certain bedrock principles or core values that have been carried by the members in silence. They consist of three basic principles, and together create the XGC mission.

Honor: "I will bear true faith and allegiance..." Accordingly, we will: Conduct ourselves in the highest ethical manner in all relationships with peers, superiors and subordinates.

Courage: "I will support..." Accordingly, we will have: courage to meet the demands of our profession and the mission when it is, demanding, or otherwise difficult; Make decisions in the best interest of the XG community and XBOX-LIVE, without regard to personal consequences.

Commitment: "I will obey the orders..." Accordingly, we will: Demand respect up and down the chain of command; Care for the safety, professional, personal and spiritual well-being of our people; Show respect toward all people without regard to race, religion, skill or gender; Treat each individual with human dignity; Be committed to positive change and constant improvement; Exhibit the highest degree of moral character, technical excellence, quality and competence in what we have been trained to do. The day-to-day duty of every XG man and woman is to work together as a team to improve the quality of our work, our people and ourselves.

Irrational Decisions:

When members get stressed and feel like stepping down and/or leaving is the best option just to come back a day later, this is becoming a problem. When people feel like this and express this, we need to have those members take a step back and "cool off" and think about their decision before jumping the gun. If members leave, they will not be given a pass to come back because they had a change of heart. In the event a member wants to come back after leaving, GWG is the route they will need to take. Every situation will be handled on a case by case basis.
Leaders, please remember you should have a 24 to 48 hr cooling period before you jump to remove the member, unless it is a problem member. Don’t leave it to the member that is upset at that moment to try and decide if they want extra time. As a leader, listen to why they want to leave and be done at that time. Then hit them up after some cool down time has passed and emotions have calmed to discuss if they really want to leave or not. Also consider a transfer.

Training The Future:

Leadership Training should be taking place all the time. If your clan is going good, keep training leadership. We have seen many instances where a clan is good but then something happens and the captain or Lieutenant have to go inactive and the clan falls apart. The purpose of having the next set of leaders ready is so that they can step up when their time comes. To know if this occurs be active with your clans and get to know the leaders and future leaders. Don't take someone's word about what's going on.

No Man Left Behind:

All leadership needs to be making sure that no one is left behind in the clan. Leadership should be gaming with the members of the clan. Captains should be gaming with members of their squads. If someone isn’t gaming with the squad/clan, don’t just assume that they are inactive. Reach out to them because a lot of times the reason that they are not gaming with the squad/clan is because no one is reaching out to them. If you have someone that is not playing the same games as the clan, please find them a clan that is playing the same games as them. Our goal is for our members to all have someone to game with and sometimes that means finding them a new home so that they can also enjoy being in the community.

Summer Months:

It is quickly coming up on summer, which poses two issues that need to be addressed. First off, the end of the school year is quickly approaching, which means that there will be a lot more people on the games, providing us with new recruiting opportunities, but beware that many of them may be underage for our community. Be vigilant while recruiting, and please remember to properly vet your possible new recruits. The second thing that everyone needs to be prepared for during the summer is clan members taking vacations. If you are planning on taking a vacation, please remember to message your leadership so that they know that you are not inactive. It has happened that someone goes on vacation forgets to notify leadership, and they get removed for inactivity. All pf this boils down to the proper execution of communication.

Creating Activity

Probably the biggest question heard by Generals(Clan Leaders) and Captains(Squad Leaders) is how to increase activity. Often times, you will see a clan member who may not play a lot with the clan and/or never makes it few if any meetings. While there are many ways that are done now(Meetings, Game Nights, Clan Parties), one way that is often overlooked may also one of the easiest. When you see them online, ask for an invite to their party and/or game. Play with them, and make sure that others play with them. When you go to them, and you put forth the effort, then they are more apt to reciprocate those actions. The Bottom Line, Have fun, play games.

Please be clear on the reason a member is being removed from your user group when posting a removal request. 'They left, they were removed, they went inactive'. This makes things clear for the leaders completing the request, as well as clear to those who are investigating a GWG application.

Removing Members VS Finding Them a New Home
When thinking about removing a member from your clan, please make sure you are asking yourself these questions first. Would they be a better fit in a different clan? Would they be a better fit in a different division? Removing members entirely isn't always the answer.

Important Information:

No leader in XG is to be asking for personal contact info of other members. This includes phone numbers, home addresses, personal email addresses, or any other personal contact info. No one has to provide this information to be in a clan or in leadership. We have too many ways to communicate with our members, without having to gather personal information. Anyone found to be violating this policy will be demoted and possibly removed from the community.

Clan/Squad Lists:

Clan and squad list are to be re-posted by the first and fifteenth of each month. Please remember to go through the forums shortly thereafter and delete old posts to keep the forums clean and easier to navigate and read.

Professionalism:

Remember while being a member of Xiled Gaming you are expected to uphold a professional gaming demeanor at all times. There is no reason to be yelling at other members, messaging in all caps or trash talking other members in the community. We are all here for the same reason, to have a group of people that we enjoy gaming with every day. Remember the golden rule: treat others how you want to be treated.

Generals and Squad meetings:

Generals, it is your responsibility to communicate to your Captains that they need to run the Clan meeting if you are unable to, and it is also your responsibility to run a Captain's squad meeting if they are unable to hold it as well. If you cannot make the weekly mandatory Generals meeting you must inform your Captains so that one of them may take your place to receive the notes for the week.

Returning Members:

When anyone approaches you about returning from inactivity, or returning from leaving the community, you must research their story prior to adding them back into a clan usergroup. Check for the removal request to see what was stated, if there isn't a removal request please verify with a higher up on if the member needs to post a Grass Wasn't Greener application or not. Generals, please ensure that members who are still pending in the Grass Wasn't Greener are not being added to your clan list or usergroup until their application is approved.

Note for the non-leaders

Protect your personal contact information. No one from XG needs your phone number, address, etc., for you to be a member of other community. There are numerous ways to communicate with your clan without putting your information at risk.

Xiled Gaming has implemented a new Rank Structure as everyone knows. How is this going for your clans and your members? Has there been questions from the members about how things has changed? Have the changes resulted in the leadership and the clans having more time to game and have fun? Tonight we will be going over any questions and feedback of the Rank Structure that everyone might have.

III. Leadership Role

As new Section Leaders/Clan Leaders are moving up, make sure we are all working together as a Team to help them out. Be there to listen and help them as they are in a new role. Also for ALL Section Leaders/Clan Leaders, if you are becoming overwhelmed please let us know. We will work with you to help in anyway we can. Before leaving the role talk to your Division Leader. There is that Open Door Policy so utilize it.
All Section Leaders should be working with their peers at all times. If there is a problem let's work it out among each other. If you are having problems go to your XD and we can have a sit down with all involved. One thing that will help bring Section Leaders together is to have a game night at least once every 2 weeks or monthly.

Discord is monitored by the Moderators. Violations of Discord rules, depending on number of violations, will earn an individual one of the following:

Clan Leader is the highest level of leadership within an individual clan. Clan Leaders oversee the day-to-day operations within a clan. A Clan Leader’s focus is building and maintaining strong, member-centric clans by facilitating a fun and engaging online experience for clan members. Clan Leaders should serve as role models for the community.

Clan Leader Role:

• Provide a fun and engaging online experience for the entire clan. (Includes spreading the word about things going on in the Community)
• Enforce the Honor Code and handle any disputes within his/her own clan. (Utilize peers as witness if needed)
• Recommend Squad Leaders to Section Leaders for promotion consideration, when appropriate.
• Establish and implement the clan’s meeting and event schedules. (This should be done on a regular)
• Assist in the development of members into leadership roles.
• Maintain the Clan List, updating monthly. (This is reposting not editing previous clan list)
• Maintain the clan’s Discord channels. (Need help get with your Section Leader for guidance)
• Submit gamertag requests to Section Leaders for approval.
• Attend bi-monthly leadership meetings with the community’s leadership.

III. HONOR CODE

All XG members must register on the website within one week of their recruitment to remain in XG. As a registered member, you will have access to the Forums and Tournaments, the XG Discord server, along with many other great sites. New members must read and accept the Honor Code and Rank Structure.

CLAN STRUCTURE

The goal of the CLAN STRUCTURE is to create smaller, stronger, and more personalized clans. A clan is a group of friends who sign online to play together.Think for a minute, when you turn on your console, who are you looking for first? The people you look for or text before you turn on your console are your clan members.

With so many games and the number of different platforms increasing, it is imperative our clan structure is executed efficiently in hopes of uniting like-minded gamers within an exciting gaming environment.

As the clan grows, members who display the desire and qualities of being in leadership should be considered for the role of Squad Leader. The Squad Leader role is not mandatory, but rather is utilized when the number of clan members is large enough and when a member, who is trained and willing to accept the position, is appointed by the Clan Leader.

There can be multiple squads within a clan. Squads are members who look to game with each other when they are on, a group playing the same game or game mode, or a group with common interests or goals. If a member of a squad switches games, they must be transferred to a different squad or clan to meet their gaming needs. No member left behind!!! Clan transfers will be approved by the generals and section leader(s).

All recruits must be introduced to their squad members and get to know them for the first seven days in the squad. Recruits must be put into squads with members who play similar games.

After the seven-day trial period, the clan’s members will collectively decide whether to offer membership to the prospective member.

All recruits must read the Honor Code before a clan invite is sent to them or a user group request is approved.

Note: Promotions are earned by excelling in your current role, recruiting, and actively attempting to better the clan/community. Holding your position for a long time period guarantees you nothing. Asking for a promotion will not get you promoted. If you’re interested in moving up, we encourage you to communicate that desire to your chain of command, but asking for/demanding a promotion outright will get you nowhere.

Xiled Gaming Rank Structure

RECRUIT

A Recruit is a gamer who has been invited as a probationary member to Xiled Gaming (XG). The Recruit’s week-long probationary period provides the clan and the Recruit with purposeful feedback regarding the potential member and clan’s compatibility. After the Recruit’s probationary period expires, the clan’s members will collectively decide whether to offer membership to the prospective member. The Recruit’s probationary period may be extended by the Clan Leader at his/her discretion. Recruits who are not offered memberships, may re-engage with another XG clan.

MEMBER

A Member is a recreational gamer who serves as a representative of Xiled Gaming and its core values. Gamers who reach the rank of Member have earned the privilege of requesting an XG gamertag.

Member Role:

• Register on XiledGaming.com and respective Divisional Discord servers.
• Acknowledge and uphold the XG Honor Code and the community’s core values.
• Remain an active participant in the clan and other community-affiliated activities.
• Recruit quality like-minded gamers.

Squad Leader is the entry level leadership position within an individual clan. A Squad Leader’s focus is building and maintaining the clan’s individual squads. Squad Leaders work directly with the Clan Leader to achieve clan benchmarks and provide an engaging online experience for his/her squad. Squad Leaders serve as role models for the community.

Squad Leader Role:

• Provide a fun and engaging online experience for his/her squadmates.
• Enforce the Honor Code and handle any disputes within his/her own squad.
• Assist in the development of members.
• Maintain a squad list, editing when appropriate.
• Recruit quality, like-minded gamers.

CLAN LEADER

Clan Leader is the highest level of leadership within an individual clan. Clan Leaders oversee the day-to-day operations within a clan. A Clan Leader’s focus is building and maintaining strong, member-centric clans by facilitating a fun and engaging online experience for clan members. Clan Leaders should serve as role models for the community.

Clan Leader Role:

• Provide a fun and engaging online experience for the entire clan.
• Enforce the Honor Code and handle any disputes within his/her own clan.
• Recommend Squad Leaders to Section Leaders for promotion consideration, when appropriate.
• Establish and implement the clan’s meeting and event schedules.
• Assist in the development of members into leadership roles.
• Maintain the Clan List, updating monthly.
• Maintain the clan’s Discord channels.
• Submit gamertag requests to Section Leaders for approval.
• Attend bi-monthly leadership meetings with the community’s leadership.

Proactivity and building leadership.
Proactivity is contagious when it’s modeled. Leading by example involves making proactive thinking and action visible in your role, illustrating how forward-thinking can translate into tangible benefits for the clan.

The more active you are with your members the more you will develop relationships and see who has qualities of a value leaders in your clan so you can start the process of placing them into leadership and teaching them the skills and techniques you learned yourself.

Every Question has an Answer!
As a Leader in the Community, you will be faced with many questions from recruits and above. Let's be prepared and if you don’t know it go and find it or come to anyone and ask the question. There is never a dumb question. Always remember we don’t answer questions with "because that’s how it’s always been", "that’s how “they” want it done" or "I don’t know just do it like that" etc... The Open Door Policy is always available if your not sure of this question. This means ALL of the XD's, XC's and XI's are more than happy to help.

Holidays
With Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year coming up, let's not lose focus on your clan's. This is the time to keep activity going strong. New games coming out really helps and will bring in new recruits. Communication is very important during this time as many people will be traveling and spending time with their family. Only 3 more meetings of the year after this one so let's make it all count!

Positive Structure

With the new changes that has been in place, we would like to say Thank You to everyone for going through this change with Xiled Gaming. Xiled Gaming has grown into a better Community with more personal clans that makes our members happy. Keep up the great work everyone.

Communication is key

If you feel that your clan or section is taking a downward slide or you are feeling that you are overwhelmed and don't know what to do, reach out to your peers or Division Leader. It's easier to fix a problem early then to fix a problem beyond repair. Reaching out for help isn't a sign of weakness but shows that you actually care about your clan or clans.

Splitting Big Clans

The more members you have in a clan, the more members that get left behind. You may think well there in the party with us every night. This is a good thing however engaging with your members is not just a conversation, it's gaming with them. No matter what these big clans they are no way your getting this done with all members. Get them ready to split out into there own small engaging more manageable clans.
Don't hold your members back. If you have someone that wants to be a great leader and has everything it takes we don't hold them back to meet there goals. Get them in a squad together with some of there guys he or she plays with and let them flourish. Keeping each squad small and more manageable. Looking at your clan to be built for the future.

Developing Leadership

We understand wanting to promote someone that already knows the rank that you are promoting for, but you need to ask yourself why are they no longer in leadership? Look at your section/clan, who all do you have in your section/clan that would be a good fit for leadership. Just because someone knows the rank does not mean that they are the best fit for that rank that needs to be filled. Also we don’t just promote someone with experience so that we don’t have to train them. Doing a promotion isn’t about the easiest way to go about things, find who is the best fit and work with them. We want to give other members the opportunities to move up, not just the same ones going up and down in rank.
For example: You have a someone that has been a past leader that wants to move up in ranks again, let's develop them in the right direction to fix their past failures.

Name Changes

Section Leaders: Please make sure that you are being vigilant with name changes. Remember we do not approve name changes that are vulgar in any way. They should not reference curse words or be sexual in any way. Also make sure that you are doing the proper research to make sure that the name is available. If you are unsure about a name please reach out to your peers or your Division Leader for assistance.

Clan Leaders: Please take time and talk to your members about the proper way to do a name change. Once they reach the rank of member they earn the privilege of adding the XG tags to their gamer tags. If they want to add an XG tag to their gamer tag, they need to submit three names to their leadership and they will then submit it to the Section Leader for approval. Please make sure that the gamer tags do not exceed the limit for the console that they are on. (Xbox 12 characters, PlayStation 16 characters, PC 12 characters) Remember that the XG tag automatically takes up 4 characters in the name.

The Holidays are upon us!

The holidays are quickly approaching! During this time remember to take time for yourself with your family and friends and anticipate that your members will be doing the same. Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks will be happening for a lot of people which means it could be a spike in inactivity from some members or a spike in activity for others. Let's take advantage of this time when you are online and available by creating game nights, challenges for your clans and squads, etc.
