Mission quote of the day:
-The time to fix the roof is when the sun is shining. “JFK”

Positive Structure
With the new changes that have been in place, we would like to say Thank You to everyone for going through this change with Xiled Gaming. Xiled Gaming has become a better Community with more personal clans that make our members happy. Keep up the great work, everyone.

Communication is Key:
If you feel that your clan or section is taking a downward slide or you feel overwhelmed and don't know what to do, reach out to your peers or Division Leader. It's easier to fix a problem early than to fix a problem beyond repair. Reaching out for help isn't a sign of weakness but shows that you care about your clan or clans.

Splitting Big Clans:
The more members you have in a clan, the more members that get left behind. You may think you are at the party with us every night. This is a good thing; however, engaging with your members is not just a conversation; it's gaming with them. No matter what these big clans are, there is no way you can get this done with all members. Get them ready to split into small, engaging, more manageable clans.
Don't hold your members back. If you have someone who wants to be a great leader and has everything it takes, we don't stop them from meeting their goals. Get them in a squad with some of the guys he or she plays with and let them flourish. Keep each squad small and more manageable, and look at your clan to be built for the future.

Developing Leadership:
We understand wanting to promote someone who already knows the rank that you are promoting for, but you need to ask yourself why they are no longer in leadership. Look at your section/clan. Who in your section/clan would be a good fit for leadership? Just because someone knows the rank does not mean they are the best fit for that rank that needs filling. Also, we don’t just promote someone with experience, so we don’t have to train them. Doing a promotion isn’t about the easiest way to go about things; find who is the best fit and work with them. We want to give other members the opportunities to move up, not just the same ones going up and down in rank.
For example: If you have someone who has been a past leader and wants to move up in the ranks again, let's develop them in the right direction to fix their past failures.

Name Changes:
Section Leaders: Please ensure you are vigilant with name changes. Remember, we do not approve name changes that are vulgar in any way. They should not reference curse words or be sexual in any way. Also, please make sure that you are doing the proper research to make sure the name is available. If you are unsure about a name, don't hesitate to get in touch with your peers or your Division Leader for assistance.

Clan Leaders: Please take time to talk to your members about how to change a name. Once they reach the member rank, they can add the XG tags to their gamer tags. If they want to add an XG tag to their gamer tag, they need to submit three names to their leadership, and they will then submit it to the Section Leader for approval. Please ensure that the gamer tags do not exceed the limit for the console that they are on. (Xbox 12 characters, PlayStation 16 characters, PC 12 characters) Remember that the XG tag automatically takes up 4 characters in the name.

The Holidays are upon us!
The holidays are quickly approaching! During this time, remember to take time for yourself with your family and friends and anticipate that your members will be doing the same. Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks will be happening for a lot of people, which means it could be a spike in inactivity from some members or a spike in activity for others. Let's take advantage of this time when you are online and available by creating game nights, challenges for your clans and squads, etc.

Mission Quote of the day: “Leadership is a way of thinking, a way of acting, and most importantly, a way of communicating.”

Clan Battles:
Clan battles are encouraged throughout the Community. Clan Leaders or Event Coordinators for the Clan can set these battles up at any time; remember to have respect and have fun. This is what Xiled Gaming is all about!!

Who can you game with?
No one in Xiled Gaming can tell any member who they can or cannot game with, no exceptions. This goes for other gamers within the community and outside of the community. If someone in leadership tells you who you can or cannot game with, utilize the Open-Door Policy to bring the matter to higher leadership’s attention.
The whole purpose of XG is to provide a place to meet other gamers.

Discord Communication:
Other than the Xbox, it’s safe to say that Discord has become a primary way of communicating. We have access to it through our Xbox, our computers, and, more importantly, our phones. Discord is a great way to communicate reminders for meetings, game nights, and direct clan and leadership interaction, and it is an excellent tool for anyone in the community.
Please take the time to make sure your members are added to the discord, assigned the appropriate roles, remove those who no longer belong there, etc.
We would like to see this amazing tool utilized more and want to see all of our members, including us leaders, taking advantage of it!

Website Banners:
Clan Banners & Leader Banners are essential to giving your Clan and yourself (the leader) an identity on the website. You get a default banner when a new clan is made or a new XS or higher is promoted. It’s lame, and it’s ugly. So, let’s fix that!
Clan Leaders, you get to pick your banner's look! Don’t know where to start? Try utilizing the Discord polls to get ideas from your members! Once you have that idea, if you’re savvy in graphic design, you can create your own!
The Design Team is always a great option as well. Whether you have an idea or want to leave the creativity in their hands, that’s up to you! Remember, if you do create your own, the guidelines listed in the design team forums must be followed.

Mission Quote of the Day:

A little more sparkle and a little less stress. Xiled Gaming wishes you the best this holiday season!!

Clan Event Coordinator:

If not done so by the Clan Leaders, remember to submit a ticket in for your Clan Event Coordinator at the help desk. If your Clan does not have an event Coordinator, then the Squad Leader should be appointed to that spot; if you don't have a Squad Leader, then it will be the Clan Leader. Please make sure all Event Coordinators for each clan are on the main Xiled discord.
If their discord name is different from their Gamertag, please have them send a message to
-SYN Chell XD
-XGC Mini Me XD
So we know who to give this role to.

The reason for all this is that the Events coordinators now have their thread on the Xiled Gaming. This is where they can go and share ideas, such as what's working vs. what's not working, clan battles, etc. It's a place they can chat and chill.

Accepting Usergroup Requests vs GWG:
When users are still pending in the GWG, they are not members. DO NOT accept their user group requests. Once approved to return, someone will be told to hit someone up for placement unless they've gone inactive. That leader will then hit up the Section Leader to be placed in the clan.

End of Year Activity:
Being this is the last meeting of the year, this is a good time to make sure all Clan/Squad lists match with usergroups. Make sure Discord is cleaned up in all Clans.
If anyone is in the Usergroups and not on the List, you need to see if that member has gone inactive and been removed as inactive.

Holiday Reminder:
Being a busy time of year, remember not everyone will be active like usual. Please consider this as members and leaders are traveling to be with families. Also, with Christmas around the corner, this could boost the recruiting process due to Santa bringing many new games, so encourage your members to recruit like-minded gamers as they are on throughout the Holidays.

Pool Tournament:
Xiled Gaming would like to Congratulate FaZeAims9092 from SYN Havoc on being the 1st place winner and to KoG Leftie on coming in 2nd. Third place is still to be determined.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
All of us at Xiled Gaming wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
May your Hearts be filled and your Families be blessed!

Topics:
I. Looking to the Future:

Welcome to the New Year! We hope everyone had good holiday! With the New Year upon us, we would like Section Leaders / Clan Leaders and even Squad Leaders if you have them to take a look at your squads/clans and set some goals. Where are you now? Where would you like to be? How are you going to get there as a team? Let's make 2025 your year!

II. Tickets:
Submitting tickets are simple and easy IF you follow the format. Also, if more than 1 member is being removed or transferred, put it on the same ticket. Easy peasy and its done. Always remember the thread title is the CLAN name only.

Thread Title: Name of the clan

Clan Name: name of the clan
User ID: The name of the member to remove from the clan
Discord ID: If adding/removing Event Coordinator role.
Reason: Why you are requesting for this member(s) to be removed
Note: You must be the Clan Leader or Section Leader of the clan in order to submit a request. Please remember to use the member's exact username.

lII. Discord:
As a Leader in Xiled gaming, you have specific responsibilities that are required. For Section Leaders, you must moderate the Section’s clan forums and Discord Channels. This means you as a Section Leader, are in charge of ensuring the correct leadership is in each role in your Section and the proper roles are set. As for Clan Leaders, you are to maintain the discord channels.

IV. Xiled Gaming:
Xiled Gaming would like to thank everyone who came out to celebrate XG’s 19th Birthday, as we finished the night off with the BO6 custom games.
A special thanks to the members of the Events team who planned and coordinated the Birthday Bash and to the Design Team for the excellent Flyers that was made to spread the word. Thanks to their efforts, everyone had a great time and met new community members.

V. Leader Logs:
When a member is removed from our community for an honor code violation, the Section Leader should do a Leader Log. When members submit a removal request for said member, it would be helpful for the XS to respond to this request with a link posted to the Leader Log. Why?

Mission quote of the day:
"You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today."

Returning members:
We have the gwg process for a reason. The GWG process helps filter out people who are unfit for the community. Under no circumstance should a section leader or clan leader add someone to the user group who needs to do a gwg. Section leaders /clan leaders do not have the authority to bypass the gwg process for any reason. Anytime you have someone wishing to return to the community, research needs to be done. Here lately, many returning members have been added to user groups that need a gwg or have a gwg pending. At no point should someone with a pending gwg be added to any user group. If you have someone wishing to return to the community who was removed for anything other than inactivity, they need to put in a gwg to return. If you are unsure if a gwg is required, ask your peer, section leader, or division leader.

Transfers:
Leaders when we are doing a transfer. Let's make sure we are following the proper steps. There have been too many instances where members are asking for transfers, and leaders are taking it into their own hands and not properly handling the situation as it should be handled.

Remember, In-Side Sections Transfers are done between Clan Leaders.

Outside Sections - Transfers are handled between Section Leaders

Outside Divisions - Section Leaders handle transfers unless it's a problematic member then Division Leaders will be involved.

We have 72 hours to complete transfers.

Name Changes:
Clan Leaders: Please talk to your members about the proper way to make a name change. Once they reach the member rank, they can add the XG tags to their gamer tags. If they want to add an XG tag to their gamer tag, they need to submit three names to their leadership, and they will then submit it to the Section Leader for approval. Also, please make sure that when recruits are being read in, you are explaining this and that they understand this process. Lastly, please advise anyone doing a name change that they must change it on the website first, and once it goes through and is completed, they can then change their Gamertag.

“Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.” —Warren G. Bennis

Thank You:
At Xiled Gaming, we are truly grateful for all the hard work and dedication each of you brings to our community. Your efforts over the past few months have not gone unnoticed, and the remarkable growth we’ve witnessed fills us with pride! We may not always express it, but we see the passion and commitment you put into everything, and we want to take this moment to thank you sincerely for all that you do. Together, we’re making this community extraordinary!

Harassing Behavior:
Here recently, we have been receiving more complaints about harassment/sexual harassment. When you accept the honor code, you accept that you can be removed for such behavior. Under no circumstance should any member be made to feel uncomfortable because of harassing behavior. Please remember that XG will never ask or recommend that our members give out their personal phone numbers or social media accounts. The XG website, Xbox, and Discord are our forms of communication. If you choose to do so, there could be far-reaching ramifications over which XG has no authority. The bottom line DONT do it.

VIII
Honor Code violations consist of discrimination, racism, sexism, harassment, illegal drugs, cheating, poaching, squad de-ranking, or any other overly aggressive behavior toward fellow online gamers. Cheating is defined as any manipulation of online play; this includes but is not limited to modding, bridging, stand-bying, forcing host, action replay, glitching/super jumping in match-making/ranked games to gain an unfair advantage, playing online custom / ranked games with Modders and circle boosting. Every situation is different and will be handled appropriately on a case-by-case basis.

RELATIONSHIPS AND LEADERSHIP IN XG:
We here at Xiled Gaming understand that we have some fantastic members here in the community. We do ask that you not use the community as a dating site. This creates unnecessary drama in the community.

XG does not allow husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, or immediate family to report directly to avoid drama and keep any favoritism or feelings from influencing decisions. We realize that with the amazing members we have, at some point, you might find the person who completes your life. If you do, we require you to notify a leader (XD, XC, XI) so one of you can be moved. Notifying a leader of these relationships will not result in the loss of rank or removal from the community. However, any lying, deception, manipulation of stories or members, or relationships that generate issues or drama for the community may result in demotion and/or removal from the community. The rank structure is intended to be followed without personal feelings or emotional decisions affecting the directions of our clans.

Look, we get it; some of you are going to date. We don't care! Just spare us and your division the drama of going through it by being honest!

Training:
Clan Leaders, when training your Squad Leaders, make sure you go over how and why you clean up your Clan List in the Clans forums. The first post should read, “Do Not Post In This Thread!” Next is the very first list, followed by the last list. Any list in between should be deleted—the same for Clan Leader also applies to the Squad Leaders.
Also as Clan Leaders promote their Squad Leaders, Make sure the Squad Leader is posting the list on the website before submitting ticket to add Squad Leader. It will be pending if not done.

Recruiting for Longevity:

We love it when our clans and clan leaders are go-getters, but sometimes slower is better! With our recent transition in clan structure to be smaller, tighter, and more intimate, recruiting in bulk is not always the answer. We would like to see clans build and grow, but it should also be done at a pace at which each member we extend membership to is treated so they’ll be forever members. Our structure is currently in a position where getting to know each member and having their experience be the focal point is better than ever. We aren’t telling you not to recruit; we are just asking you to build long-lasting relationships and friendships so your clan can prosper for a long time!

Honor Code IV:
All SYN members are encouraged to share any issues or ideas through the chain of command and with XC/XI at ANYTIME! The leaders of Xiled Gaming believe in the open-door policy to encourage openness and transparency among all community members.

X-Team Challenges:
COD BO6 challenge against the X-Team. SYN Fallen Angels won the match!!!!!! Congrats to SYN Fallen Angels on the win.
X-Team won the Rocket League Challenge against XGC Wolfpack XK. Congrats to the X-Team on a hard-fought win!!!!
