this was pretty much the only CoD that i actually enjoyed and all these loser modders and hackers went and destroyed it!!! i hate people who feel the need to do this. it drives me insane. XBL should find all the people who are doing this and ban their IP addresses. anyone else feel the same??

It is a minority of people that mod/cheat. Hell half the time people that are accused of modding/cheating don't do either or these. Not as big a problem as people make out.

the thing is you barely need to modify your console in order to "hack" on waw. A flashed xbox can do it all and unfortunately the tuts for it are very simple therefore there is a lot of modders.
No, I agree that it is a huge problem on WaW, and unlike others have said, it is not claims of cheating but obvious, in your face hacks being used.
I tried to play it at a lady friends house with her and it was terrible. Put me off buying the game.
People out of the map, wall/aim hacks, mods which increase the range of explosives by like 300%. The thing is since there is relatively no dev support left for the game the hackers/modders don't even attempt to cover their tracks or make the exploits subtle.
So now try and claim it was just us trying to imply the other team was cheating because we lost. By saying that you are essentially sweeping the issue under the carpet and laying the blame on people who just want to play the game like it was designed.

I am always skeptical whenever someone claims another person is cheating. I have lost count of the number of times I have heard people both within XG and outwith complain the other team is cheating when they are not.
I have also had my account temp suspended in the past for supposedly cheating, which I have never done.
There is a difference between just cheating and blatant hacking/modding.

I never accused you of either. However I have seen threads here saying others are cheating and in some cases giving GT of people that according to someone are cheats (obv not in this case) and asking everyone to file complaints against them to get them banned.
Maybe I view things differently because I have been unfairly banned in the past because of people doing this.
I agree with some of the posts here. The hackers ruined the game because they can't play the game the way it was supposed to be played. WaW was by far my favorite CoD game until it taken over by these hackers. Hopefully some day they will be able to get rid of the hacks and glitches and restore this game to the glory it once had.
The only way their ever going to restore the honor this game had in the past like mw2 is to make a re-release, the games are too dated so they will never bother.

Yeah but it makes it no fun for those of us that want to play the game the way it is supposed to be played. they should be able to tag the users that are using these hacks and remove them from the game.
