Dead Silence - Move Silently.. Footsteps are muffled. Elite Disclaimer: If you are attending a tryout for the Xiled Elites or playing with us in private matches where Friendly Fire is Enabled you WILL be shot. Dead Silence is a perk that is essential in all gametypes whether it be in public lobbies or private matches (especially those where esports rules are enabled). It allows players to not be able to hear you running around it your high heels and can give you a huge strategic advantage when playing against the enemy team. The only thing that you need to worry about when using it is players are using Amplify in order to be able to hear you, although the amount of players truely using it are very miniscule. The other advantage to this is that you won't give away the positions of your fellow team members if you are running through buildings etc. This can be critical is what we consider the "clutch" time in a game where teams really need to work together to achieve a victory over the opposing team. This is a perk that if you have not tried it out or have not used it you really do need to get in the habit of it because it can and will increase the quality of your gameplay. Keep in mind.. - This does not mask reloading or switching weapons. Your enemies will still be able to hear you doing that if you are close enough to them. - Falling/Jumping off roofs, windows, etc. which would cause you to make the "crunch" sound is still able to be heard by your enemies. Experiment with it. You won't be disappointed. If you have any questions please feel free to ask any of us on Elite :)
