One thing you'll realize after doing it a while, is that recruiting is actually VERY easy. What got me to that point was simply thinking of what I loved about our community, and helping to show others. Theres SO much XG has to offer that, regardless of what you're into, theres something here for you. Just playing with friends in your squad/clan, Game Nights, Clan leadership positions for those interested, the Design/News/Events Teams, ClanCompete, etc... Try to showcase these options to potential members. Its what sets us apart from other Clans/Communities... other than the caliber of our members. Other selling points would be the foundation of XG. The Honor Code, Rank Structure, and Experienced Leadership. These 3 things are at the core of XG, and have helped it to remain a success for all these years, and are what other Clans/Communities attempt to copy the most. Everyone has their own way of recruiting, what works best for them. Id experiment with different ways, and try to find the process you prefer. The easiest way I've found is simply going into a match/game by myself, or with a Clanmate (no party chat), then chatting with your teammates. More often than not, by the end of the match, you'll have a decent understanding of who they are, and if they are someone you want to extend a recruitment offer to. If they are down, get some more games in, and introduce them to other clanmates. The more you can do to expose them to what XG is all about, the better the chances they will want to be part of it Other members here have also tried to streamline the recruiting process, and make it easier for others. Below is a copy of common recruitment info that you are encouraged to use: _______________________________________________
The first few things you should bring up to any potential recruits are: -Have you ever been in XGC, SYN, KoG, or XGG? -How old are you? -How much do you know about XG? -Xiled Gaming was founded in Janurary of 2006. XG stands for Xiled Gaming. -We have over 60,000 registered members. ______________________________________________ We have four different divisions: XGC: the division for our gamers 18 years and up. KoG: this division has no age limit. SYN: this is our underground division, allows a little more trash talking, and has an age limit of 16 years and up. XGG: our division for our female gamers. ______________________________________________ We have clans in a variety of different games across all platforms. ______________________________________________ XG uses an Honor Code and it is strictly enforced.
