About 90% of the time I have music on, I turned it off when I was playing RE7 just because I wanted to be able to hear when I was about to get jumped by zombie things lol
I'm always listening to music but some games or game types I can not because I need to focus on where the Enemies are through my headset so I need the Concentration
I can agree that some game types require the "game sound" in order to fully enjoy, good example as Buffy already stated RE7. I for some reason just have to have music going as long as I am awake! I even listen to my headphones while at work lol. So that being said, what kind of music do you prefer to listen to while gaming?? Personally, I'm all over the map when it comes to a play list...from rock, hip hop, country, techno and even instrumentals. How about you?
For sure! Music, for me, is an important part of my life as is gaming so I love to incorporate the two!!
It's always a variety with me as well, some days I listen to pop, others alternative/rock, movie soundtracks, Disney sing-alongs, usually when it gets really late and I'm trying to stay awake I put on electronic/EDM. Reading, music and gaming are the most important things in my life so usually I have a book sitting next to me that I read during pauses or deaths in game too!
For open world games, I typically find a set playlist from spotify on the PS4. I like to mix it in with the game volume. Basically I turn off the In-Game music and leave the SFX/Speech on. It gives me the authentic feel that I am getting a custom gaming experience attuned to my musical taste.
headphones in with music up load is how i like to play sometimes. it helps me focus. i do the same when im doing my homework too
