MLG: STR8 RIPPIN VS XILED GAMING???

This was originally posted by KoG Cheddar XL I think almost 2 years ago, but I wanted to know if anyone knew if this was really OUR Xiled Gaming that played STR8 RiPPiN. B/C that would be awesome if it was. And I was also wondering if anyone knew if there was a video on the internet of it somewhere.

Here's the link: http://www.mlgpro.com/mlgevents/disp_tournament.php?id=27

yeah that was Xiled Gaming... none of those guys still are with XG but they were officially with XG at the time of that tournament... that was some time ago, and XG had started to venture into pro teams... we sponsored a pro team, (i believe that was acidian's team but i'm not sure) we sent them to that tourny... as cool as it was to have our name in the MLG rankings... it didn't really help out the clan as a whole... so we decided to move away from that direction for a while... maybe in the future we'll look at it again, but we feel the best thing for XG is to focus on our online population, our true gamers first... pro teams, we'll worry about later

I'm ranked number one in my district area, the delaware valley, which covers southeaster PA (Philly Area included), south western New Jersey, and Delaware. I've played at the Philly Massacre, and I'm competing at VGXPO with my school's pro team that I formed. We're called Insane Standards, iS, we're going for over 1,000 dollars

Well when you combine natural talent with being paid to play Halo full time, there's not much an average Joe can do to compete with that. And there is probably a team XG could put together right now to make a decent appearance at an event, but there's no way they could "waste" FB.

The key to sucess in pro gaming, is of course skill first of all, but confidence and team chemistry is very important, and all pro teams that do well in the circuit have very good chemistry. There is a lot of good team work and XG and if you combine that with the best set of players you can get that play well together, you get an amazing team. The hard part is finding that perfect balance. We have a tendency to pick just the very best k/d ratio players and plop them on a team, but a team needs players with different skills, like objective and slayer, and strats, that's what we need to find, I want to send a team to MLG next year, mabye we should, but we need to be pretty determined and committed.
