Every situation is different and will be handled appropriately on a case by case basis.</p><p></p><p>SYN Honor Code</p><p><strong>IX</strong></p><p>Honor Code violations consist of discrimination, racism, sexism, harassment, illegal drugs, cheating, poaching, squad de-ranking, or any other overly aggressive behavior toward fellow online gamers. Cheating is defined as any manipulation of online play; this includes, but not limited to modding, bridging, stand-bying, forcing host, action replay, glitching / super jumping in match making / ranked games to gain an unfair advantage, playing online custom / ranked games with Modders, and circle boosting. Every situation is different and will be handled appropriately on a case by case basis.</p><p></p><p><strong>Stay In Your Lane</strong></p><p></p><p>When an issue is brought to you that doesn't involve your clan or section directly, please make sure that the issue is directed to the appropriate leader. If the General or XS from that clan or section isn't currently available, send them a message to let them know about what is going on and they will reply when they can. Remember that most issues do not need to be handled right away, it is very rare that something can't wait until the appropriate person is online to take care of it.</p><p></p><p>When it is a time-sensitive or urgent matter use the open door policy to hit up an XD or higher so it can be handled appropriately. An investigation has to take place before any action is taken. This is critical! Both sides of the story need to be checked and verified as best as possible, by asking any witnesses to give their account and not just basing a decision upon what one person has said, as that can easily turn into a he-said, she-said situation which is impossible to resolve fairly.</p><p></p><p><strong>Five Ways To Lead Your Team</strong></p><p></p><p>1. Become Part of the Group</p><p>It is essential to be interested in the team & individuals on a human level from the the start - integration beyond the work environment creates connections between people, allowing better understanding the needs & wants of our gamers, so we can provide the best experience possible.</p><p></p><p>2. Develop Talents</p><p>Leadership should always be searching for ways to expand their capabilities and skills. Learning is an integral part of achieving results, so learning and developing such skills are important to every teams' success regardless of position.</p><p></p><p>3. Motivate Change</p><p>Resistance to change comes from fear of the unknown. Never be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try something different, after all being stagnant is the first step to failure. Encourage your team to be more intrepid.</p><p></p><p>4. Coordinate Activities instead of Directing People</p><p>Leadership involves inspiration as well as motivation. Leadership is about bringing out the best in a team, remember you are working with people with all different types of feelings, emotions, and ideas, not machines.</p><p></p><p>5. Provide Feedback on Performance</p><p>Talented people prefer a honest assessment on their performance and enjoy praise for a job well done. Always be able to to develop how you handle difficult situations, while being able to keep our composure as leaders.
