Hello there, my name is Matt and I'm curious as to how cool this community really is. I just started playing my own 360 and I was hoping someone would help me join.

Hey lad.

In XGC Section 8 we are very active with 30ish members. The majoiry play Blackops but we also have quite a few that are active on Reach. We even have a "resident map maker" who loves forge and frequently creates new maps that are of a high standard.

I myself am competing on the Reach Singles ladder on ClanCompete (competitive matches against others in Xiled Gaming) and am looking to expand Section 8 into the other various ladders on it.

I will send you a FR and hope to chat and game with you soon.

The one thing I would advise is to see what each clan can offer you before joining. There are a lot of great clans here and it is probably better for you to take your time and find the one that is best suited to you.

Will do. But as for the clan situation, I see that XGC is for 18 and older. So that means no immature little kids that shouldn't be playing xbox right?

Pretty much, actually the reason I joined XGC. No disrespect intended to SYN or KOG when i say that, I game with members from there from time to time but usually just their older members.

I generally prefer to play with people closer to my age and have a laugh at the same time.

You can come and have a few games with us and see what you think if youd like :)

Bro,Last year I was in the same situation that you are in now. I was new to Xbox live and was looking for a Mature clan to communicate, play games, and fit in. It was XGC8 who seemed to go above and beyond to make me feel at home. The organized leadership, cultural diversity, and the family feeling I wouldn't trade for any other Clan.

IDk if you have found a clan already but XGC Roughnecks have 3 squads of Black ops and 1 of Halo reach players. If you are interested in meeting some of the guys hit me up on the box or XGC Snyder462.
