I woke up this morning and I didn't have my contacts in yet and I saw on the news about some kind of disaster that happened. I wasn't sure what they were talking about until later I found out what that was about. Sucks big time.

Thats a pretty messed up thing for any country to have to experience.

It sucks because we feel so helpless here in NZ, and we are very, very close to Japan (politically).

We just experienced our own earthquake in Christchurch which is likely to set back the region over $30 billion, so we really can't offer money to help out (We only have 4 million people in NZ, so even if everybody gave $1 we cant even dent our own quake debt).

Our hearts go out to Japan.
