Its not letting me change the code though like I can't access my signature settings on the about me page or is there another way to change it

Go to the top of the page, click "Settings" and when you get there, scrol down a bit a there will be a panel on the lef side named "My Settings". Inside that panel is a link called "Edit Signature", which is where you go to change your signature.
