As many of you are aware, Xiled Gaming Store is now open for all Community Members! T-Shirts can be found in the XG STORE located on the website Forum Tabs. Shirts are $30 a piece including shipping and handling. Each T-Shirt can range from size Small to 3XL so please make sure to choose a size from the drop-down menu BEFORE proceeding to "Buy Now".

NAME CHANGES:
When making Name Change requests, Please make sure the Generals are submitting them in the "Ask The Leaders" forum under their assigned Section Leader. ONLY GENERALS ARE TO REQUEST NAME CHANGE!!
Here is an example of a format for the Section Leaders to use:
Please follow the following format to post any Gamertag requests you have received from your clan members.

When the name has been changed, have the member make sure to change it on discord and the website. If the member has any questions let them know to go to their Chain of Command if needed.
No Member Left Behind
It is that time of year to get your User Group in order. This should be done already but this is a good time before the Holidays hit to make sure no members are being left behind. Generals and Captains need to be working closely with communication to make sure this is being done. Just don't assume that since a member isn't online or doesn't respond to your messages or invites, you remove them from your Usergroup. Giving members ample amount to time to respond is the way to go. We don't want to jump to conclusions and remove someone who could possibly be spending time with their families during these holidays.
Discord
Discord is one of our main communication channels. Following are the rules in which Xiled Gaming Members must follow:
The following infractions are grounds for immediate, no-questions-asked banning from the server.
- 1. Drive-by Spamming. - Users who register and post to link to their sites will be immediately banned from the server.
- 2. Threatening Posters. - Users who make physical threats against staff or members via posts or direct messages will be immediately banned from the server. Members who receive such threats should immediately contact a staff member and should save the original copy of the threat.
- 3. Users who make their own discord server and invite community members will be immediately removed.
XG Discord is being overseen by the Discord Team at all times. If someone gets banned for any of the reasons above just be aware that you might be getting a visit from a member of the Discord Team.
As many of you may have seen already, in the Xiled Gaming Discord, game boards have been changed to Game Forums. This ensures members who post "Looking to Game" messages don't get lost among the many conversations that we have on a day-to-day basis. Anyone can start a thread within that forum and anyone can reply. Please remember that we are all members of Xiled Gaming and rules do apply. Be professional and be respectful.
THE EVENTS TEAM
The Events Team is looking for outgoing people to join the Events team, If anyone is interested and/or has ideas please contact SYN CHELL XS or SYN Sobi. Be on the lookout for the new games coming out for new events and invite your friends. This gets your members to get to know more people in Xiled Gaming in all 3 divisions.

RECRUITING
With the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 dropping, there will be more opportunities for clans to grow. Taking the time to recruit new members to join our community and ensuring that they will be a good fit for your clan, your division, and your community as a whole. The key point to look for when recruiting new members is taking the time to get to know them not only as a gamer but as a person. Inviting them to clan/community game nights and exposing them to what Xiled Gaming really is. Bombarding them instantly to join could scare them away, so take the time to introduce them to everyone. We as members of Xiled Gaming take the responsibility of growing what we work hard to build. It is everyone's responsibility to recruit and ensure that our members are having fun and gaming. Always remember to treat each random blueberry in your lobby as if they are potential recruits even if they are being ugly to you.
WORKING WITH YOUR PEERS
To be successful as a group of leaders, we have to work together as a team. You have to be a strong enough leader to be able to put petty differences aside to work for the betterment of the whole team. There is no room for condescending remarks or attitudes when a peer comes to you for help. All leaders have had different experiences and have advice or perspectives to offer for specific situations or know how to answer a question that you might not know. Be willing to listen to ideas or perspectives, because it's hard for one person to consider all options and ideas by themselves. Make yourself an asset to anyone you can help when they are dealing with a situation they haven't had previously.
WORKING WITH YOUR MEMBERS
As a General, it's your responsibility to be talking with all members of your clan. Remember, a simple question can go a long way, whether it's to expose issues that weren't communicated to you previously or to get to know potential future leaders and determine if they have the qualities we look for in our leaders. When you spot people doing things right, give them that praise to show them it's appreciated and to keep them progressing in that direction. Everything trickles down, both good and bad. Show them that leadership is fun and it will encourage more people to want to give it a try.
