Arcameli, In response to your question, I believe, issues like Free Speech, Politics, religion and many other more personal matters are not valid in our community. This is a gaming community not a debate community that discusses those types of issues. If people like to talk about that stuf then they can do so one on one or join other communities that have those things as their primary topics of discussion. Ours is gaming. AS XG members, can we speak freely to all in the community? Yes we can. There is an open door policy all the way up to the Council. However, our community has rules and regulations that need to be followed. The first thing for all members to refer to is the honorcode. No one for the sake of using the Free Speech argument can speak to someone else in a disrespectful manner. Everyone should follow the chain of command in order to get any issues resolved. If the issues are not closed then it will be escalated to the next higher rank. Keep in mind something though, just because an issue does not get resolved the way the person initiating it wants it to be does not mean they have to proceed with bringing it up over and over again to others. Sometimes an issue is resolved and a decision is made properly on the first go round. We all need to learn to live with that. In the past, we did have leaders who did things differently. They made decisions that might not have been the same as other leaders. We are working very hard to insure the leadership is making consistent decisions on all things in XG. I feel all our current leaders are focused on doing just that. In time being consistent with our decisions will help fix several issues that many have in XG to include some of your concerns from other posts. I hope my response has been helpful.
