the problem is that XG is always moving into tomorrow, but we actually discuss things and try our best to perfect things before we put them into action... we don't say "hmm pro gaming sounds awesome lets do it and just tell the first four really good gamers they are our pro team" (i'm not saying that is how anyone else is doing it i'm just making an example, i honestly don't pay attention to how any other clans are being run except XG)... we've always got new plans and working on new projects that no one will hear about until they are done, then when they are done and seems to be in proper working order we implement them... XG has been moving forward since day one and will continue to... we take our time on some issues, but we feel that is best since some things can wait til tomorrow and some things can't... our method clearly works for most since we have been around for years and we have been one of the forefathers of gaming communities since inception. i've said it before XG is not for everyone, and that is fine... i don't want to hold people back that think that their time online could be better spent elsewhere, we all get online to have fun... but it is very funny how half of the people who are promised all of these great things in other gaming communities (not naming names because honestly it has happened for every single gaming community to split from us to date) end up coming back and asking to come back to XG... and corona i like to think we are still on a friend level to some extent (never had any issues between us did we?) so i'm saying this as a conversation piece not a complaint... the term poaching may not have originally been a gaming term, but i believe it is def one now, i mean newbie, lagging, glitch, modding are all terms that were originally created for a different meaning and eventually took on a gaming defenition in time... just because websters doesn't have the def. of poaching as it relates to gaming communities doesn't mean it's not a viable term in the online gaming industry... and to sum up XG's problem with poaching it is this... If you WANT to leave XG for your own reason (whatever the reason) that is fine, have fun, we wish you luck in the future... but when someone from another clan comes and promises the world to a member just to get them to leave (and most of the time having no intentions of coming through with their promise) that is the problem we have... like if i worked at burger king and the head of McDonalds came and told me he would make me a district manager if i switched just because he didn't like BK... then when i go over there i realize that i'm never going to get anything other than janitorial duties... that is the problem and it happens a lot... if i was a general and someone offered me a higher rank of some new clan it might sounds enticing if i don't know all of the facts
