Battlefield offers a more real feel to it than any CoD game. But remember the doesn't make the CoD games bad. CoD offers a more fast paced Arcade feel to shooters than to Battlefield's more realistic tactical feel to shooters.

At the end of the day it depends on what type of gamer you are. Do you like playing games for the heck of it and enjoying the times or are you more into the feel of realism where it's you and your team working as a unit. Both games carry the roles offered, but both games work differently as to how they deliver.
