CALL OF DUTY IN THE FUTURE?

Someone tell me how badass it would be to make a call of duty game take place in the future? The way future? fill me in on your thoughts. there are pro's and con's to it. Im a WWII fan as well as MW and MW2 which im eagerly anticipating!!

i can't imagine it would be that good. take the battlefield series for example, they had a great string of awesome games, 1942, vietnam, bf2 then they tried making the future one and it absolutely blew. Also Halo sux

be cool if it had like a story like gears of war but instead of locusts, have soldiers lol. and have like the futuristic blasters in such. almost like halo and gears put together.
